Mail2web Pop3 and Smtp Settings

The POP3 mail server address is ex7.mail2web.com, and the SMTP mail server address of Mail2web is ex7.mail2web.com.

To know how to configure Mail2web POP3 and SMTP settings, follow the instructions given below.

  • Step : 1 Launch the Outlook application on your system.
  • Step : 2 Locate the File tab and click on it.
  • Step : 3 Select the Add Account option in the Account Information section.
  • Step : 4 Now, the Auto Account Setup window will open.
  • Step : 5 Select the Additional Server Types or Manual setup option in it.
  • Step : 6 Click the Next button.
  • Step : 7 Now, the Choose Service window will open.
  • Step : 8 Select the POP3 option on it. Now, the POP and IMAP Account Settings window will open.
  • Step : 9 Enter your name and email address in the first two fields.
  • Step : 10 Choose the POP3 option from the Account Type drop-down menu.
  • Step : 11 Type the ex7.mail2web.com command in the Incoming mail server text field.
  • Step : 12 In the Outgoing mail server text field, type the ex7.mail2web.com command.
  • Step : 13 Enter your full email address in the User Name field and its security key in the password field.
  • Step : 14 If required, click the checkbox beside the Remember Password option.
  • Step : 15 Click the More Settings button.
  • Step : 16 Navigate to the Outgoing Server tab and click on it.
  • Step : 17 Uncheck the box next to the My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication option if checked.
  • Step : 18 Click the Advanced tab.
  • Step : 19 Enter the 995 number in the Incoming server port (POP3) field and 465 in the Outgoing server port (SMTP) field.
  • Step : 20 Make sure to select the SSL option for Encryption.
  • Step : 21 If you set Encryption to None, then the POP port number is 110, and the SMTP port number is 25 or 587.
  • Step : 22 After entering the required data in the given fields, click the OK button.
  • Step : 23 Click the Test Settings button. If you receive the test message successfully, then the setup is done correctly.
  • Step : 24 If not, re-check the settings and then try to send the test message.
  • Step : 25 Click the Close button followed by Finish.
