Problem 1 - iCloud Mail not working in Safari

Solution

If the problem occurs when you are accessing your iCloud Mail account from the Safari browser, follow the steps.

  • Step : 1 Update the Safari browser to the most recent version.
  • Step : 2 Access the Safari menu and click the Preferences option.
  • Step : 3 Navigate to the Advanced tab and then click the Show Develop menu in menu bar option.
  • Step : 4 Exit the Preferences window.
  • Step : 5 Go to the Develop menu and click the Empty Caches option to clear the Safari browser’s cache.
  • Step : 6 Still, if iCloud Mail is not working, there is a chance for the problem to be with the internet connection. 

Problem 2 - iCloud Mail not working on a Mac computer

Solution

You’ll see an error message when you cannot send your email. Resolve the problem as per the steps provided here.

  • Step : 1 Check if your Mac computer is connected to the Internet.
  • Step : 2 Visit Apple’s system status page and check for the status message.
  • Step : 3 Sometimes, the problem might be with the email service.
  • Step : 4 If the problem persists, remove your iCloud Mail account and add it again in the Mac Mail application.

Problem 3 - iCloud Mail not working on iPhone

Due to some reasons, iCloud Mail does not work on your iPhone. Below is the solution to resolve the problem.

  • Step : 1 Ensure that your iPhone is connected to the Internet.
  • Step : 2 On the iPhone, open the Settings app.
  • Step : 3 Choose your iCloud Mail account and check if the Mail toggle is turned on.

  • Step : 4 Perform the following instructions depending on your OS.
  • Step : 5 iOS 10 and later - Select the Mail option on the Settings screen. Tap the Accounts option followed by the Fetch New Data option. Turn on the Push toggle.
  • Step : 6 iOS 9 and earlier - Open Settings. Tap the Mail, Contacts, and Calendars option followed by the Fetch New Data option. If the Push toggle is not enabled yet, enable it.
  • Step : 7 Turn off your iPhone and turn it on. 
  • Step : 8 If none of the steps could resolve the iCloud Mail not working problem, delete your iCloud Mail account and again add it on your iPhone.
