  • Step : 3 Check if the level of protection is set to high. If not, set it to high and click Save.
  • Step : 4 Now, when a new junk mail is received on your email account, it will be sent directly to the Junk/Spam folder instead of Inbox.
  • Step : 5 You can delete the junk mails manually. If you’re fed up with deleting them, then you make the settings to delete the junk mails automatically. To do so,
  • Step : 6 Go to the Junk folder.
  • Step : 7 Click Junk E-mail Options and select the Permanently delete suspected junk e-mail instead of moving it to the Junk E-mail folder option.

Method 2: Block sender or mark e-mail as Junk

Blocking sender: 

  • Step : 1 Sign in to your Outlook account. Open the Inbox folder.
  • Step : 2 Select the sender/message you want to block.
  • Step : 3 Click Junk > Block > OK. 
  • Step : 4 Now, the selected message/sender will be blocked.

Marking e-mails as junk: Choose the mail you want to block as junk and then click Junk > Junk.

Method 3: Create an inbox rule

  • Step : 1 This is an alternative way to block the junk mails entering the Inbox folder. 
  • Step : 2 In the Inbox folder, select a message or sender to create a rule.
  • Step : 3 Right-click on the selected one and click Create Rule.
  • Step : 4 Set the rule of your desire and click OK > OK.
