Cannot Connect To The Outgoing Smtp Email Server

The outgoing server is the SMTP server, which delivers the emails to the receivers. There are issues related to the SMTP server.

  • Step : 1 The SMTP server configuration for the email clients or email apps that you use may not support it. It is easy to solve, correct the configuration settings for the SMTP server.
  • Step : 2 The SMTP port may be blocked for some reason, like increasing spam or high traffic. Usually, port 587 or 465 is used. Change the port and try to connect again.
  • Step : 3 SMTP errors have codes to indicate the reason why an email cannot connect to the server. Some of the common error codes that occur are;
  • Step : 4 421 - This code denotes that the email cannot be sent at this time because there are some issues with the receiver’s server policies. It can be because the receiver server became unreachable.
  • Step : 5 450 - It means the receiver’s email address is no longer in use, or their server is rejecting the email due to filtering reasons. 
  • Step : 6 500 - This error occurs due to the installed firewall or antivirus. The security software would have rejected the emails for protection services.
  • Step : 7 503 - This can appear due to the command that is executed in a wrong manner, which caused some error. For solving the error, it requires validation.
  • Step : 8 552 - Sometimes, the email gets rejected for its huge size. The large-sized documents attached to the email is the cause of this error. So always keep the email size small.

Cannot Safely Connect To Server Email

  • Step : 1 The server ports used in the email clients or apps may not be secured. This causes a security problem for servers. 
  • Step : 2 Try changing the incoming mail server settings. Change the default SSL security type to SSL (Accept All certificates).
  • Step : 3 Modify the SSL settings to Accept All certificates in the outgoing mail server as well.
  • Step : 4 There might be an authentication failure; make sure you use the right username and password.
  • Step : 5 If the issue persists, reset the network settings and try again to connect.

Quickbooks Unable To Connect To The Email Server

  • Step : 1 The Quickbooks you are using could be the old version, so update the software to the newest version. After updating, restart the device.
  • Step : 2 On the home page, click Update to the latest release option.
  • Step : 3 Select your Quickbooks product from Change Link.
  • Step : 4 Click on the Update button.
  • Step : 5 Enable automatic updates to avoid similar problems in the future.
  • Step : 6 Change the email preferences in the Settings menu.
  • Step : 7 From the menu, select Preferences. Now, choose Send Forms.

  • Step : 11 There might be problems with the Database Manager. On Windows, search for Quickbooks Database Server Manager.

  • Step : 13 Select OK when the folders are selected. Next, click Start Scan.

DVR Email Failed To Connect To The Server

  • Step : 1 The ports that are used connect to the email server may not be secured, so try changing the ports.
  • Step : 2 Check the SSL settings for your email server. Sometimes, the email server and the DRV device use different encryption protocols. 
  • Step : 3 Always update the firmware for your DRV device. The older version might not support the email server settings.
  • Step : 4 Make sure to verify your email account that you are using for the DRV device. Email account validation could fail, and the server connection issues may occur.

Iphone Email Cannot Connect To The Server

  • Step : 1 There might be internet connection issue. So stay in the position where the data connection is continuously strong.
  • Step : 2 The app on the iPhone can have some issues, try uninstalling the app, and reinstall the app.
  • Step : 3 The iPhone may have problems running the app. In this case, restart the device and again connect.
  • Step : 4 If the mail app is not connecting, then try using the email through the web. There could be some authentication trouble, so check the account password.
