- Step : 1 Launch Outlook and log in to your Outlook account.
- Step : 2 Go to the New Email section to create a new email.
- Step : 3 Otherwise, press the Control and N buttons together to compose a new email message.
- Step : 4 You can now type the recipient’s address, subject, and body of the email message.
- Step : 5 Once you have composed your message, select the Options tab.
- Step : 6 Alternatively, you can select the More Options icon from the Tags group.
- Step : 7 Click the Delay Delivery option to send the message later.
- Step : 8 When the Properties window appears, checkmark the Do not deliver before option in the Delivery Options section.
- Step : 9 Select the date and time in which you want to send the email. Then, click Close.
- Step : 10 Click on the Send button in the Compose email section.
- Step : 11 Your email message will now be sent to the Outbox folder.
- Step : 12 Select the Outbox folder to view the message.
- Step : 13 You can also send the message immediately.
- Step : 14 Open the email message and click the Options tab.
- Step : 15 Select the Delay Delivery option and uncheck the Do not deliver before box.
- Step : 16 Now, click Send to deliver your email message immediately.
- Step : 17 If you want to delay sending the email, leave the message in the Outbox folder.
- Step : 18 Your email will be sent on the date and time you have set.
- Step : 19 The email message in the Outbox folder will be sent to the added recipient automatically and will be moved to the Sent folder.
- Step : 20 To delay all messages, go to the File menu.
- Step : 21 Click New Rule and select a template. Then, choose the Apply rule on messages I send option.
- Step : 22 You can set delay delivery of all email messages upto 2 hours.
