Add your AOL Mail account to the Outlook 2010 email client

  • Step : 1 Open the Outlook 2010 email client on your computer.
  • Step : 2 At the top-left corner, click the File tab.
  • Step : 3 When a new screen opens, navigate to the Info tab in the left panel. Click the Add Account button in the main panel.
  • Step : 4 Click the radio button beside the Manually configure server settings or additional server types option and click Next.

  • Step : 13 Use same settings as my incoming mail server
  • Step : 14 Navigate to the Advanced tab. Type 993 or 995 in the Incoming server field.
  • Step : 15 Enter 465 in the Outgoing server (SMTP) field.
  • Step : 16 Choose the SSL option from the Use the following type of encrypted connection menu.
  • Step : 17 Click OK.
  • Step : 18 Once you click Next, the Outlook 2010 email client tests the account settings.
  • Step : 19 To finish your AOL Mail account configuration, click the Finish button.
  • Step : 20 This will add your AOL Mail account to Outlook 2010 with the proper server settings.
  • Step : 21 Add your AOL Mail account to the Outlook 2013 email client
  • Step : 22 Open the Outlook 2013 email client.

  • Step : 30 Click OK -> Next -> Close -> Finish.
  • Step : 31 Your AOL Mail account has been added to the Outlook 2013 email client using the server settings.
